Chabad of Shrewsbury & UMass Medical School
Our community is a unique blend of medical students, doctors, hospital patients and their families, and Shrewsbury locals. We provide a supportive place for anyone who wants to experience Judaism, at any time.
Your donation goes a long way:
$180- Jewish Holiday Children's Program at The Shrewsbury Library
$360- Student Event on Campus
$540- Community Shabbat Dinner
$1,000- 24 Hours of Bikur Cholim.
This includes one night stay in the Chabad hospitality house, three gourmet meals for the patient and their family, and hospital advocacy.
$1,800- Jewish Medical Ethics Course taught to medical students today, our future Jewish doctors tomorrow!
How does a Match Campaign work?
Running an operation like Chabad of Shrewsbury and UMass Medical School requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While we work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve.
Generous donors have come forward to help Chabad thrive this year. They will collectively donate $36,000 provided that it is matched by an equal donation from our you, our community. This means your dollar will have two times the impact!
How can I help?
