Building Campaign

In the fall of 2017, Chabad opened it's doors with a vision to reach every Jew with love, and help build a Jewish community in the area and a home away from home for the Jewish students and residents at UMass Medical School.

In just a few short years, we have seen that vision come to life. A beautiful and caring Jewish community has begun to bloom and blossom. A place where everyone is welcomed with warmth and kindness, and valued as an integral part of the community.

A source of pride in our community is the Chabad Bikur Cholim House & Jewish Student Center.

However, our growing community needs a home of its own, a space where it can continue to thrive - for today and the future.

With your help and a loan from a generous donor, Chabad has secured a 3,000 SF building on 1.4 acres of land in Town Center. This will serve as a permanent home for UMass students and Shrewsbury's Jewish community; a Center for Jewish Life!

The purchase price is $720,000.

We need to raise $276,000 before April 4th.

to qualify for a regular mortgage to pay back the donor and renovate and beautify Shrewsbury's first Shul!

You can help make this a reality.

Let’s invest together in our Jewish future!

There will be a DEDICATION WALL in the new center that will prominently display the names of all those that have donated $3600 and above.

With deep appreciation,

Rabbi Shmulik & Sarah Fogelman
